Palacerigg Field Archers
Archery club
Palacerigg Field Archers is a field archery club based in Cumbernauld. We have a diverse range of archers aged from our cubs (9+) through to our seniors (65+), from various backgrounds, shooting various styles of bows. Our club is proud to host numerous club and national competitions throughout the year. These competitions are open to all club members and archers across Scotland, allowing members to meet and develop friendships with fellow archers. Palacerigg Field Archers are affiliates of the Scottish Field Archery Association (SFAA) which is the governing body for Field Archery in Scotland and is in turn governed by the International Field Archery Association (IFAA).
We aim to nurture and inspire archers in a safe and constructive manner. We also help archers to reach personal goals, whilst enjoying the sport.
During the summer season, the club meets every Tuesday and Wednesday evening at the course. Located in the tranquil forest of Palacerigg Country Park, experienced archers can shoot targets ranging from 14 feet to 80 yards. We have a variety of faces and even a 3D target in our course. To shoot at the course you must have both club and SFAA membership.
